Vintage 1950s Pyrex
Grab some nostalgia with an excellent vintage 1950s Pyrex piece. There was a whole heck of a lot going on back in the 50's and you can bet you've heard of a few. But among those timelines there was also some great cookware being made and produced from Pyrex! While most people remember the 50's as the Golden Era, there was a ton of other stuff going on as well. You had North Korea invading South Korea. Good old General McArthur in charge of the UN Forces stampeding the way. The Korean War pushing the commies back past the 38th. Major turning points in equality taking place where "separate but equal" would no longer stand. Of course you had the whole polio outbreak that spread fear everywhere until Dr. Salk stepped in with his newly created vaccine. And to top it all off, the Soviets put Sputnik into space. Major feat!
There was also some great music kicking around in the 50s ranging from: Nat "King" Cole, Laurence Welk, Elvis "The King" Presley, Harry Belafonte, Buddy Holly and more. But who do you think was the best, I know who I thought was the best.
Plus there were some major stars, sports and personalities in that era as well: Jack Kerouac, Marilyn Monroe, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Mickey Mantle to name a few.
